When booking Fernanda did an amazing job great customer service,when checking in one of the ladies wasn't that pleasant. The cabins are clean,rustic just needed a heater or extra blankets ,the room service is great as well .
The hotel is well located. Only a short walk from the city center (~15min) and from the waterfall el salto (~2h). Personal was nice but there is limited availability for tours outside the touristic season. The cabana was great! They even provide wood to make a fire at night, 2 bathroom, great sofa and a week equip kitchen.
The experience is great, the views are awesome and you feel the relaxation of being beside the flame on those cold days. On the cottage I stayed in, there's a place over the bathrooms space that has a dim light and is perfect for reading and staying calm when it's raining or too cold outside.
The cabins are spacious and confortable, they are all 2 floors with 2 full bathrooms and 3 bedrooms. One has a king bed, one has 2 full beds,and the 3rd has two bunk beds. There is also a small full kitchen, a fireplace, a small bbq, and terraces in both the main and second floor. The cabins have no tvs,but they do have wifi. Movistar has very spotty cel service but AT&T and Telcel have very good service. The is no A/C in the cabins but it isn't needed as they are very cool even in June.

I get the rustic vibe which is lovely, but the wood creaks really bad and bends as if it were to almost break. The toilet paper dispenser broke. The view is very nice though and the people are helpful.
Maybe THE best location in Mazamitla. Roomy cabins and a huge property. Friendly staff and on-site room service. Controlled access for increased safety. Kid-friendly but also secluded romantic couple cabins.
Really enjoyed the rustic, well kept cabin and lush landscape on terraced hillside. Hotel provided wood and starter for a nice fire (bring matches or lighter). We cooked a couple small meals in our little kitchen and I remembered to bring a small coffee pot too. Mazamitla it’s a fun, beautiful place to visit.
